behind the lens

I'm Sarah — a portrait and pet photographer based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. I picked up my first camera at fifteen, shooting for friends and family before working at a portrait studio.

I grew up with dogs, worked for a dog trainer, and spent years grooming — so animals are in my DNA. That hands-on background means I genuinely know how to read them, be patient with them, and bring out the real them in front of a lens.

Capturing pets and their people's emotion is what I live for. My husband joins me at weddings and events as my assistant — we make a good team.
